Martin Luther-The Legacy
As you may already know, Martin Luther was a German monk and a professor at the University at Wittenburg, in Germany where he lectured on the bible.
Martin Luther had major influence on the Protestant religion--from then to TODAY!!
From his readings of the Bible, Luther believed mainly in Justification.
He has influence in today's times because people have carried his beliefs from generation to generation.
For instance, there are many Lutheran Churches in which the people have carried the belief that baptism is necessary for salvation-for believing adults and infants. There are many Lutheran churches in Finland, Germany, Iceland, North America, and Many more countries.
Lutheranists today still believe in the Ninety-Five Theses, the Bible, and the Book of Concord published in 1580. Which were all interpreted or written by Luther.
